What we store
Spraku stores the data needed to run your account and your learning:
- Your name and email address.
- If you use a password, a salted bcrypt hash of it. We never store or see the password itself. If you sign in with Google, we store no password at all.
- Your learning data: languages, flashcard progress, review history, streaks, and preferences such as timezone and session size.
- Content you create, such as sentences you submit to build custom flashcards.
What we don't do
We don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't use your data for anything except running Spraku.
Services we rely on
Your data is processed by the infrastructure Spraku runs on:
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Prisma Postgres — the database.
- Amazon Web Services (S3) — images and audio for flashcards.
- Resend — transactional email, such as password resets.
- Google — only if you choose to sign in with Google.
- Whop — payment processing for paid plans. We never see your card details.
- AI providers (OpenAI, Google) — sentences you submit for flashcard generation are sent to these services to build your cards. Your account data is not.
Cookies
We use only the cookies required to keep you signed in. No tracking cookies, no third-party advertising cookies.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile. Deletion is immediate and permanent: profile, learning history, and any media you created are removed.
